"Who's My Neighbor?"

"On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. "Teacher," he asked, "what must I do to inherit eternal life?" "What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?" He answered: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" "You have answered correctly," Jesus replied. "Do this and you will live." But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise." Luke 10:25-37

You've probably read the story of the Good Samaritan before or maybe heard before in Sunday school. Everyone tells you to be like the Good Samaritan and leaves it at that. But this story is much more than that. The parable has a lot of points to it. One being that the Good Samaritan was the Christ-figure in this story. And then there is two, the one I am about to talk about.

"And who is my neighbor?" (vs. 29) The religious leader wanted to know who his neighbor is. Why? Because if you refer back to the verses before he wanted to know how to get to Heaven. And he wanted to know how much he really had to love. So Jesus gave him the parable of the Good Samaritan to show him how far he is to love. And I was thinking how sometimes you and me can be like that, wondering how long we have to love and who. We take on an attitude of "do I really have to love him or her?" And the answer is YES. Through Jesus' ministry He showed us that love is how people will know if you are a follower of Jesus or not.

We see that a Levite and a priest see the man on the side of the rode and walk on by. Leaving him there to die. However the Samaritan came by, crossed the road, had compassion for the man and took care of him. He loved with all his heart. First he loved God and second he loved people. I want to ask you, who will you be? Will you be the priest or the Levite who walks passed everyone because you don't want to love so and so? Or will you be the Samaritan who regardless of who the person is, loves like it's Jesus?

To sum it up, Jesus was teaching that it's not about who is your neighbor, it's about who is A neighbor. Something that you and me can learn a good bit about. So what is it? Are you gonna be a neighbor or a Levite?

Just Okay

Just okay. That is life without God. When I left the Lord earlier in life I was okay but could not find out why I was 'just' okay. That is until I came back to Him to find out that there is a God-shaped hole in my heart that (for an obvious reason) can only be filled by Him. But we tell ourselves that there is something out in the world that will satisfy us and so we go out looking for it only to find that He above us is the ONLY ONE who can.

Life without the Lord is life without purpose, True Love, true satisfaction, etc. It's what I call the "just okay" life. We have all been there at one point or time. Some of us go a bit farther away than others but none-the-less we have gone astray and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). People without God find themselves filling out this sentence, "I'm not okay because _______." But most of them fill that blank with, "I don't have enough stuff." or "I don't have a boyfriend/girlfriend." or "I don't have enough friends." or "I don't have my dream job."

What have you filled in that blank with? Can I just be real with you? Well, the only way that sentence can be complete is if you finish it with, "because I do not have Christ and without Him my life is incomplete." Then you have it. You know Who you need and that's where a relationship with Him can get started if you want one to. Till you have a true relationship with Jesus Christ no thing, person, or job can satisfy you. If you want this true satisfaction I'm telling you about and you want to experience it for yourself then pray the prayer on the side of my blog. It's colored in pink.

We as people don't have to be only okay. We can be great, happy, amazing, incredible, joyful... why? Because Jesus saved us all!!! He saved you and He saved me. That's what matters and because He saved us we don't have to settle for being okay.

I wanted to share with you a song that is so true. It's by The Afters and it's called never going back to ok here are the lyrics. Please read them. =)

The After - Never Going Back to Okay
It's not the end but it feels like it is
I'm waking up like I'm back from the dead
I'm stepping out and it feels so free
But as long as I'm moving it's alright
I feel alive and it hurts for a change
I'm looking back
It's hard to believe that I was cool with the days that I wasted
Complacent and tasteless
And bored but that was yesterday

We're never going back to okay
We're never going back to easy
We're never going back to the way it was
We're never going back to okay

This discontent
Like a slap in the face
A mediocre I've had enough of this place
This party's over and I'm moving away from the frills of your Beverly Hills
That was yesterday

chorus x1

We're never going back to easy
We're never going back to the way it was
We're never going back to okay (Okay)
We're never going back to okay
We're never going back to okay (Okay)
We're never going back to the way it was
We're never going back to okay
We're never going back to okay

be blessed you guys!!!!

"Ugh I'm So ANGRY!!!!"

"There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man." Mark 7:15

How I have found the verse above to be so very true. Some people think that if you eat 'this' or if you eat 'that' it will make you "dirty". You know, weird food. But that really as Jesus told us, does not make someone filthy or dirty. Usually it is what comes out of our very mouths that dirty us up. I find myself convicted of saying things that shouldn't be said or doing something that shouldn't be done. It is hard to keep my mouth shut at times. Sometimes someone makes me mad and I get angry and just don't think and say something that I later regret and apologize for.

If you are the same way then I am sure you struggle with anger at times and say things that are unnecessary. But I want you to know that we can keep our mouths shut (as impossible as that may seem) and love people all the way through. I'll share with you some ways that I found work. That is, if you really put them into practice.

When someone says something to me that angers me I just say whatever comes out of my mouth not even thinking about it. But you know what I found out? If you don't let yourself get to your boiling point you won't have that problem.
So solution Number 1 is to use the common sense that God gave you and when you feel yourself getting hot-headed get away from that person and go to a place where you can talk to God and let your feelings out which leads us to...

Solution Number 2. Which is talk to God. When you get angry talk to the Lord. Tell Him everything no matter how awful it may sound to you (because He can hear all your thoughts anyway) and just allow Him to work on you and your heart. This for me right now is a work in progress. I'll let you know how it goes. ;)

Solution Number 3 is by far the best working for me. That is just my personal opinion. And it is to get yourself away from the situation that is making you angry and grab your Bible and begin reading. Doesn't matter where, just read. It really and truly brings me a lot of peace when I just sit there and read from God's Word. A lot of times when you do that God will bring a verse to you that will help you through something or answer a prayer or whatever. Remember to also apply what your reading to your life.

I hope this ministers to you and helps you in some way. I love you all so very much!!!! Have a blessed night!

My Prayer To You

I want my actions to show people who you are, not just my words. I don't want people to see me as a hypocrite or a typical Christian. I want people to see me as a follower of You and a lover of You. And more importantly I want you to see me not just on the outside but on the inside that my heart is set on You and no one else. You have saved me and You alone can save people and this world. How can I stop praising You? I can't! You are too GREAT and too Awesome to not be praised all day through music and through my life. When someone sees me I pray that they see You. Oh how I love you Lord!!!!!

The Quote That Could

I found this quote on a website today and it really just amazed me. This is the quote that could possibly change your thinking a bit. Wanted to pass it on to you guys. =)

"It is the Christians, oh Emperor, Who have sought and found the truth, for they acknowledge God. They do not keep for themselves the goods entrusted to them. They do not covet what belongs to others. They show love to their neighbours. They do not do to another what they would not wish to have done to themselves. They speak gently to those who oppress them, and in this way they make them their friends. It has become their passion to do good to their enemies. They live in the awareness of their smallness. Anyone of them who has anything gives ungrudgingly to the one who has nothing. If they see a travelling stranger, they bring him under their roof. They rejoice over him as a real brother, for they do not call one another brothers out of the flesh, but they know that they are brothers in the spirit and in God. If they hear that one of them is imprisoned or oppressed for the sake of Christ, they take care of all his needs. If possible, they set him free. If anyone among them is poor or comes into want while they themselves have nothing to spare, they fast two or three days for him. In this way they can supply any poor man with the food he needs. This O Emperor, is the rule of life of the Christians, and this is their manner of life." (Aristides - 137AD)

Don't you love that? I think that this is a great quote and really can change you way of thinking if you really listen to it. It's really a quote that says "be a great person for Christ by not being Great." It's really hard to humble myself low enough sometimes, but I think that this quote kinda shows what some people see when they look at Christians and maybe if we really live for Christ and lead by example someone will see you that way and eventually get saved. Just a thought. Be blessed!!

Love Is An Action

So earlier today I was reading an article on what one thing you can do to change the world. Some people said extreme things and others simple. And I was thinking, what if we changed the world for Jesus Christ simply by smiling more? Or by having a good attitude when everyone else doesn't? After all the Bible does say that they will "know you by your love."

What is one thing you can do to change the world? Well.... one thing we are all capable of doing yet fail to do so often is love others. And I mean really love. What if we had a love revolution and people started following Jesus simply because someone showed them His love? Maybe this is a little "lala landish" but it is just a thought. Some people are harder to love than others no doubt but if we really follow Jesus maybe we can swallow our pride and love that person anyway.

I look around me and see people with so much potential yet they are lost and looking for that person to satisfy them and if you and I could somehow show that one person who Jesus is it will all be worth it. I think that far too often we allow ourselves to believe that just because we are saved we are somehow better than the person who is not. Maybe you don't, but I find myself guilty of that sometimes but the truth be told none of us are good. Only Jesus is and He is the only One who can make us good. When it comes down to the end of the day we are still sinners, but what overcomes that is Jesus on the Cross which makes us forgiven.

Many lost souls are out there just waiting for someone to have the courage to tell them what they are looking for is right above them. Whom they are waiting for is next to their side. Life means so much more than clothes, boy/girls, how many friends you have or what your social status is. How popular you are or how much money you got will not matter in Heaven. The only thing that will matter is whether you knew Jesus and made Him known. We together can change this world one action a at time. One action at a time lives can be changed but I cannot do it alone, and neither can you but together we can. I really want to know if you will join me? Will you help change a life? I really hope you will.

The rest of this summer let's make our motto "One" because there is One we are living for, one action we are choosing to take (that is to love) and one soul at a time that will get saved. For with Jesus all things are possible (Luke 1:37)

I love you all and most importantly so does He! :)) Amen to that!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Strength Giver

Who or what gives you strength?

Really I would love for you to tell me your answer. I asked myself that question and came up with a couple different answers. One I think food gives me strength which is a pretty much a "duh" answer lol and then two I think that sometimes I get strength from people. Neither one of those answers are bad I don't think, but when we don't go to the Strength Giver (God) first, and allow Him to give us real strength than life is a lot tougher and harder than it has to be.

I ask myself why I go to certain things/people for strength and sometimes I think it's because I want someone or something to comfort me or set me at ease. Sometimes I worry (because I'm human and Jesus understands that part of me :) and worry comes from not fully trusting God which sets all the things that we try and get strength and comfort from, into play. I think we can all agree that life can get hard, really hard and sometimes none of us know how to make it. And the Lord understands that which is why He really just wants us to go to Him for strength.

I need to humble myself and sit before the Lord and go to Him for strength. He is THE - STRENGTH - GIVER. God is bigger and greater than anyone in this world. He is bigger and greater than any problem in this world. He is THE GREAT I AM. Let's not box God into this small Lord in Heaven who sees all and knows all. Let's know that He is the GIANT Father in Heaven who sees all and knows all and can DO ALL.

Whatever you are facing in life right now I challenge you to trust Him completely for one week and if you don't know then that all will be okay, then go back on to your life of worry. But I know that you are gonna see that no matter what goes on in your life God is the Strength Giver and the God who provides no matter what. I hope this ministers to you. love you all!

Only Satisfied By Him

Goodness, how unsatisfied I have been the past few months. All this stuff has been going on and it's just really crazy. And so I looked for satisfaction from things like clothes, food, hanging with people, etc. And still nothing filled that void and then I came to the harsh realization this morning that nothing will satisfy me except for Him.

The reason I called it a "harsh realization" was because it was so obvious yet not at the time. And then I began thinking about how many people just like me (except they may not know Jesus) look for satisfaction in things or people instead of in the ONLY One who can satisfy. And when I say only I really do mean ONLY One who can satisfy what you feel inside and in your heart. Relationships, stores, people, food, alcohol, drugs, etc. will not satisfy you and sometimes we have to learn the hard that it doesn't. But to save you a step, if you really want to be satisfied skip all those things and go straight to Jesus. He's got your back and He will satisfy you.

So this short post is just letting you know that if you want true satisfaction you gotta go to the True Satisfier. I pray He ministers to your heart! love all of you!!!

With God or Without

I read Luke 1:37 this morning which says,

"For with God nothing will be impossible."

I think something that needs to be emphasized is that nothing is impossible WITH God, however without God things are impossible. I mean right now just thinking about some of the things I've gone through and some of the things my friends have gone through I know without a shadow of a doubt that if it weren't for the Lord being there and giving us strength it would have been impossible for us to get through it. I'm sure you probably know the same.

But there are so many different people out there who don't know that with God they can do the impossible. So they settle for going out into the world alone. It is up to us as followers of Jesus Christ to stand up and speak and tell the world that life is not useless or hopeless.

This post is just to remind both Christians and non-Christians that with God all things are possible so don't give up or give in. I love yall!!!

"She Did What She Could"

"While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of a man known as Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head. Some of those present were saying indignantly to one another, "Why this waste of perfume? It could have been sold for more than a year's wages and the money given to the poor." And they rebuked her harshly. "Leave her alone," said Jesus. "Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me. The poor you will always have with you, and you can help them any time you want. But you will not always have me. She did what she could. She poured perfume on my body beforehand to prepare for my burial. I tell you the truth, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her." Mark 14:3-9

The story above I love so much. It's an extremely good example of a person who completely loved the Lord with all her being. My favorite part of the passage is where Jesus said "she did what she could." Wouldn't you love to stand before Jesus one day and have Him say, "You did all you could for Me."?!! I adore that. What would happen if we as followers of Jesus did all that we could for His cause? A revolution would be sparked and lives would be CHANGED!!!!!

Another great thing I like about that passage is how even though people were telling her that what she was doing was stupid and wasteful and doesn't help at all, she was tough and kept going not caring what other people said about her. She had a "who cares" attitude for Christ. She could have easily said, "you know what they are right." And stopped right there, but she loved Jesus way too much to do that. She went through the persecution and tuned out the voices of the people around her and went forth with God's will for her. And because she did people will be talking about what she did for Jesus for years to come. All because she was willing.

I want to encourage you to not allow the people around you to affect your decisions to be a powerful, impactful leader for Jesus Christ. He loves you so much!!! And when you stand strong for Him He is extremely proud of you!!!!

Are You Awake?

"Are you awake?"

You've been asked that at least once in your life right? Everyone has, but there is Someone who asks us that constantly. Someone who is constantly pursuing us and gently shaking us to keep us awake. Who is that Someone? His name is Jesus.

Jesus has given us a reminder in His Word to keep awake, Mark 13:36-37 says, "lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!" He's telling us to stay awake and be alert because we don't know what time He is will be coming back, all we know is that He will be coming back one day and He wants all of His children to be ready and prepared so that our lives glorify Him and receive the prize of spending eternity with Him.

Notice in the verse that it says he will come SUDDENLY. Jesus won't come when expected, He will come back when NO ONE is expecting Him. The reason I think it's that way is because if people know about when Jesus is coming back they will make sure there lives are almost perfect and all but if they don't know when He is coming back they will live as they live. So as a follower of Jesus and someone who loves her brothers and sisters I really want to make sure that you live for Jesus so that you can receive your reward in the end.

I know life is not easy, I think most of us know that. So living for Christ at times can be a challenge but it is really rewarding when you live for the Lord with all of your heart and soul.

Right now you may be caught up in the ways of the world by partying or having sex with anyone or drinking/doing drugs and just all this junk. But let me tell you that living for the world will NEVER, EVER, EVER satisfy you. People may have turned you off of living for Jesus by their actions and maybe you think that living for Jesus isn't any different than living for yourself but let me clear this up for you.. it is!!! Your life will be so much more fulfilled and rich and I'm not gonna tell you it will be easy because it won't be and life won't always be full of Sunshine's and rainbows, that's really just life but I can absolutely promise you that your life will be INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!! The Lord can change you from the inside out but that is up to you. You get to choose your eternity, hell or heaven. Your life will determine where you go, so who will you live for?

If you want to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior pray the prayer on the sidebar. After that you have been born again! Congratulations! We are all so happy to have you apart of the family!!!!

Brothers and sisters, don't forget to stay awake, stay alert, and live for Jesus! Always remember the Lord loves you!!!!

One Or Two Miles?

"Any whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two." Matthew 5:41

Okay I take it that God has been trying to teach me something through this verse and I am starting to understand what that is. I tend to take a lazy approach to some things especially when it comes to doing work. I've been trying to be better at that but have been failing repeatedly. Finally I think God was like, "I gotta get her attention." So He took this verse and through a couple people spoke it and now I am in full attention mode.

Through this verse God not only calls us to serve, but He is telling us, not only does He want us to serve and do what we need to, but also don't be afraid to go above and beyond and do MORE, or 'go the extra mile'. If I do work I usually only do what I "have" to do so the concept of doing more to simple do it absolutely blew/blows my mind. I want to remind you I am NOT perfect, only forgiven. So I still need help with things. :) I constantly desire to serve like Jesus but truthfully when God sends me serving opportunities I don't REALLY want to do it.

So many times we take the lazy approach in life, but we don't have to. If I truly desire to want to be like Jesus Christ then I will go one more mile than I have to, just because I can. Are you willing to go the extra mile? Let's not just do the work, let's go above and beyond what we have to. We are an example of who Jesus is. So if our example isn't a good one, people will be thrown off on who He is.

I love you all have a great week!!!!!!!!

The Shift Key

This post will be short, but something has been bothering me for a while now. I hit the shift key at least once during each sentence, sometimes more. So I just figure that's what other people do (could be wrong though) but how hard is it when speaking of God, to hit the shift key and capitalize the letter 'g'? Not hard at all. When you are talking of our God, the One whom created you, and type it 'god' that is referring to a false god. But when you type it 'God' as it should be, that is referring to our very real, Awesome God. So I just wanted to ask anybody who doesn't hit the shift key, please when speaking of Him, show a little respect. Thanks and God Bless!

Sown In Your Heart

"And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their heart." Mark 4:15

Ever noticed how once you become a Christian it seems like the whole world is against you? That everywhere you turn someone is trying to get you off track. Well the number one person who tries to do that is satan. He tries harder than ever to get you to not love Jesus and certainly not love others. He will do whatever it takes to get you to leave God alone.

But we have a weapon against satan and that weapon is Jesus Christ. Jesus holds us extremely close to Him, and He wants us to stand for Him in faith because He will take care of everything for us and fight for us as we fight for Him.

So I encourage you today to stand strong in HIM and not let satan try and take the word that has been sown into your heart. have a blessed day!

Summer Is Here!!!!!

Yes, I know summer has been here for a week now, but it is still fairly fresh and new! :) So since it's summer let's talk about what you and me are gonna do this summer. What are your plans? Some people go on vacation others go to the beach and others stay home. But as I was thinking about summer and what I will be doing the Lord placed a desire on my heart to not let this summer be like all the rest being lazy, hot, and bored. I want your summer and my summer to be the most awesome summer ever!! But it's gonna take surrender and a little bit of denying self.

Do you want a summer that brings about people coming to know Christ? I certainly do but that doesn't mean you can't have fun while doing it. I find that a lot of people think that being a Christian is no fun and that there is no way in the world you can have a good time. Well that is completely false!! I can tell you that I have had MORE fun living for Jesus than I ever did living for the devil. Here are a few things you can do this summer that is probably part of your week that will provide opportunities to witness:

Tanning by the pool- Yeah, you thought that you couldn't tan and do anything productive didn't you? Well you can, while your at the YMCA tanning you can talk with someone about Jesus and His love that brings freedom.

Working Out- everyone is still trying to get into shape for their swimsuits so while your toning up your body how about telling that person next to you on the treadmill how much Jesus loves them and how they are created in God's image!

At The Beach- While your at the beach hand out an index card with a verse on it (for those of you who aren't as talkative this is a good way to witness :) it's very simple but gets people's attention and who knows who will get saved after that!

Shopping- when your checking out at the mall or when your looking through a rack of clothes there is always someone to witness to. Just tell someone about Jesus!!

Have a great, safe, sunny summer filled with the blessings of God!!! I love you guys so much!! Together we are gonna change the world!!!!!!!!! Remember to be the change!

Prayer Is Important

"Now in the morning, having risen a long while before daylight, He went out and departed to a solitary place; and there He prayed." Mark 1:35

I am currently learning a lot of different things, this season in my life is one of being still and knowing He is God, and learning from Jesus' life on earth, His examples. Today what I learned was truly how important it is for us to have a daily time with the Lord. Letting things push that aside can lead to a lot of problems. So that we as Christians could understand how important it is to talk with the Lord, He showed us in His Word. What I love is how it says Jesus got up in the morning and went to go pray. I firmly believe that the best time to have your quiet time with Jesus is in the morning. Just because you take what Jesus spoke to your heart and bless other people through your life. And that it shows that you are surrendering your life to Him by giving Him the start of your day. However, God really doesn't care what time of the day you spend with Him as long as you do.

One thing important in spending time with God is talking with Him AND listening to Him. Both are extremely important and I am still learning both- it's a process. So this post is just to remind you to talk with Jesus and let Him know you love Him, tell Him about your day and how life is, the main thing is talking with Him and don't forget to listen too which is equally important to an amazing relationship with Him. I love y'all and have a rocking, blessed weekend!

The Promise He Gives

"...and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:20

Jesus has given us many promises, one of the greatest ones is being given the promise of Salvation to everyone who believes in Him. And the second greatest would be being able to spend eternity with Him. And in my opinion, the third greatest promise is Him being with us always- even to the end of the world! But it is extremely easy to forget these promises when we are faced with trials, difficulties, hardships, etc.

I remember the first time I read that verse out of context. I thought, wow I've never read that before. I think that's because sometimes we don't break down a paragraph and focus on maybe a verse or two and then we miss a lot in the Word. I am guilty of sometimes just rushing through reading God's Word and not focusing completely. Jesus is helping me with that. :)

The above verse tells us that Jesus is with us ALWAYS, not just some of the time, but ALL-OF-THE-TIME. He is with you when your scared, happy, angry, alone, with people... He is with you everywhere. You may think why? Because He cares about you and loves you deeply.

Jesus tells in the same sentence that He is with us always, even to the END OF THE AGE. When the end of the world is occurring and people will feel abandoned and alone, Jesus gave us the promise in His Word that as hopeless as it may seem, He will be with us even at the end of the world.

So right now, I don't know personally what you are going through, but I do know that with the economy as it is right now and all the problems that seem to be arising life can be hard, really hard. But I want to remind you and to encourage you that no matter what is going on in your life right now Jesus is with you- ALWAYS. Never forget that! love you guys and have a great weekend!

The Cheerful Giver

"So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver." 2 Corinthians 9:7

For God loves a cheerful giver. I love that part of the verse but thinking about it, how many times do we give cheerfully? For me I don't give very easily. I'm just being honest here. Sometimes I am selfish and don't want to give. To be there are 2 kinds of givers. The first giver is the one gives because they feel they "have" to. But as we see in the verse above we aren't supposed to give out of necessity, but from our heart. And the second giver is the cheerful giver who gives of themselves everyday without complaining. I think we all start out as the first giver and gradually over time, God molds us into cheerful givers.

Giving isn't always giving money or clothes or whatever, sometimes giving is letting someone have some of your time or giving your ears to listen to someone. How many times do you let someone have your time when you have it, but other times it's an "inconvenience" to stop and give someone some of your time because your "too busy"? I'm not condemning you because I am the same way, but wouldn't it rock the world if we gave of ourselves cheerfully not only to God, but also to people. Just simply taking out the time to listen or talk with someone. Or giving God some of the time that you use to do other things, and give that time to Him to pray or worship or read His Word.

My challenge to you and myself this week is to give some of yourself cheerfully. Search your heart and ask God what you can give to Him and others this week. I love yall!! have a blessed day!
